Project Description: Shelters Direct was contracted through Bechtel Corporation to provide three (3) pre-fabricated guard booths for the NASA-Ames Research Center located at Moffett Field, California. The scope of work included the following:
- Discussion with the client and the Owner’s Representative on the requirements and needs at three (3) perimeter security gates.
- Preparation of CAD drawings for each individual guard booth including elevations, utility rough in locations, and color selection.
- Fabrication and delivery of three (3) guard booths
- Dispatch of a factory crew to the job site to provide unloading, electrical connection, and securing the buildings to the concrete slabs.
