Project Description: Shelters Direct was contracted to provide five (5) guard booths for the Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. After completing the project it was discovered that Shelters Direct was chosen to perform the work because of the in-house installation team that offered a “turn-key” approach to the project.
The project consisted of supplying five (5) guard booths (4-5 x10) and (1-5×7) with ancillary accessories. Other tasks relating to the “turn-key” approach included the following:
- Engineered drawings and layout
- Construction of concrete foundations and bollards
- Unloading and setting of the buildings
- Connection of the electrical service
- Start up of all components
